Robert Sheesley, Director of Strategic Technology Optimization at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), has over twenty years of management consulting and information technology operations experience, including Interim CIO and senior leadership, business architecture, merger and acquisition integration, web strategy, business process optimization, and delivery of mission-critical technology and process improvement solutions designed to reduce operating costs, sustain customer loyalty, grow market share, and increase business value. Robert has held several leadership positions during his career including CIO Advisory Services Practice Leader for West Monroe Partners, National Insurance Practice Leader for Alvarez and Marsal Business Consulting, and Director Claim Technology for CNA Financial. He was previously a Project Director at HEALTHeLINK™ responsible for project leadership of a $10 million dollar, three-year project to develop and implement a state-wide clinical data exchange related to population and public health. Sheesley is a writer and public speaker, having developed and delivered material for professional associations including Project Management Institute and HIMSS.
